Angelina's entry was drawn at random from over 2,700 entries received and can now look forward to 2 night’s dinner, bed and breakfast for two at one of the county's leading independent and individual hotels.
Angelina Burgess said, "I am truly delighted to have won this competition. We moved to Shropshire 15 years ago and I am still exploring this beautiful county. Winning this competition is an opportunity to discover another corner I have not yet visited. The only problem now is choosing which hotel to stay at!"
Joint second prize winners were announced as Mariella Lloyd (also from Shrewsbury) and Sarah Hazell from Watford. Sarah Hazell also expressed her delight at winning 2 night's bed and breakfast in the competition, "It is very exciting to win the prize, my husband and I can’t wait to enjoy a break in Shropshire in the New Year! Thank you so so much."
