Visit Tanners Free Wine Fair in Shrewsbury this Saturday

in Shrewsbury This Saturday, 29th June 2013, there will be a very special FREE Wine Fair at Tanners in Shrewsbury as part of the Shrewsbury Food Festival!

From 11am to 4pm there will be wine tastings with winemakers including Graeme and Gillian Crosbie from Domain Road (New Zealand), Luis Marculeta from Rioja Vega (Spain), David Tilyard from Seckford Wines (South Africa), Nicolas Brousse from Lurton (France and Argentina), Pete Kelly and Iain Osbourne from Concha y Toro (Chile), Caryl Panman from Château Rives-Blanques (France) as well as a selection of Tanners premium wines and four Chase liqueurs and their new Summer Cup.

As well as the free tastings, there will be behind the scenes tours with Rodney Holloway and Alf Horton who will show you around our wonderfully atmospheric passageways and cellars, which are packed full of fascinating artefacts from Tanners' 170 year history.

We do hope you will come and see us on the day and have a look around, there is no need to book. There will be lots of special summer offers on our wines too.

Please note that Tanners are not open on Sunday so that staff can enjoy the rest of the Shrewsbury Food Festival, which is taking place throughout the town and in the Quarry over the weekend. You can visit the Shrewsbury Food Festival Website for more details of what's on.
