Twisted Fairy Tales at The Dana Prison (HMP Shrewsbury)

Twisted Fairy Tales at The Dana Prison (HMP Shrewsbury) Twisted Fairy Tales is a brand new, and first-of-its-kind event to arrive in Shrewsbury as part of the town’s Christmas festivities. Described as a ‘Christmas Pantomime gone wrong’ this adult only event couldn’t be further away from your standard nativity play.

Immersive Theatre is a completely unique style of event, with the audience playing a role in the production, interacting with characters from your favorite fairy tales, and dictating where the storyline goes.

Exclusively launched at The Dana Prison (HMP Shrewsbury), the five-night-only event will kick-off at 7pm on the 15th December with subsequent nights running across 16th, 17th, 22nd and 23rd December.

Twisted Fairy Tales will see groups starting every 10 minutes, with the whole pantomime taking just over an hour to complete, which includes a trip to Santa’s Wasteland, followed by a live band, bar and Shot-cell (like a shot bar, but in a prison cell) in the prison’s well-known wings.

Twisted Fairy Tales is strictly an 18+ event which will include the use of strobe lights, explicit language and adult situations. Tickets cost just £20 per person and are available to buy on www.imevents.global or by calling 01743 343100. Places are limited and are subject to a first-come, first-serve basis, so secure tickets early to avoid disappointment.
