See the Flying Scotsman and Tornado Locomotives race through Country Park

See the Flying Scotsman and Tornado Locomotives race through Country Park From Thursday 22nd to Monday 26th September the steam locomotives Flying Scotsman and Tornado are visiting the Severn Valley Railway. The line passes through the country park and offers visitors the opportunity to see the locomotives close by as they steam through.

To mark this event the country park is hosting a number of attractions between

22nd and 26th September. Car parking £2.00 for all day (car park closes at 5.30pm).

On Saturday and Sunday there will be a shuttle bus taking visitors up and down the hill to the railway line. Single journey tickets £1.00, return £1.50. This will be operating on the hour and on the half hour.

On the Sunday, from 2 pm onwards there will be a display of classic Morgan cars.

Tearoom and Visitor Centre offering drinks, homemade cakes, ice creams and sandwiches open on all dates 11am – 5pm.

Extra parking available on Saturday and Sunday.

Please note that on these dates trains WILL NOT stop at the Country Park Halt.
