Melvyn Ling of Cook and Carve received a commended (3rd) recently for his Country Sausage in the breakfast category of the tastiest sausage competition, organised by regional food group HEART of ENGLAND fine foods.
Speaking about the foody event, market administration manager, Kate Gittins said: "It is important that shoppers have the opportunity to try the local produce and Friday is the perfect time to do this."
"Those shoppers ordering the Farmhouse Breakfast between 9am and 2pm will also be entitled to a second top up of tea or coffee - all for £3.30."
