The Victorian reservoir of Lake Vyrnwy, just south of Snodonia, is a designated National Nature Reserve. It's stone dam, built in the 1880's was the first of it's kind.
Visit the RSPB Centre, hike on Glyndwrs Way. Excellent outdoor activities including, rock climbing, sailing and riding.
