Shrewsbury is one of the most haunted towns in England and a guided ghost walk is the ideal way to learn more about it.
Did you know about the man buried alive in St Julian's churchyard? Learn about the monks seen around Old St. Chads and hear about the steeplejack seen climbing the spire of St Alkmund's. Although our guides cannot guarantee any sightings, you will be intrigued these stories and many more.
The spooky and ghostly guided walks take place during October and November. They depart every Thursday evening at 7pm on 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th and 30th October and on the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th November. Tickets are £4.00 for adults and £2.50 for children (16 and under). The tours are always very popular, so to avoid disappointment, it is advisable to book early.
Tours can be booked in person at Shrewsbury Visitor Information Centre or by telephone with a credit/debit card.
Shrewsbury Visitor Information Centre is located at Rowley's House in Barker Street. The centre is open Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sundays 10am - 4pm. For further information contact 01743 281200.
