The treasure hunts and trails around the meadows will get the kids enjoying the outdoors. Then, meet back at the beginning of the Meadows for games and races, free to enter and there are medals on offer for the winners!
Refresh yourself with ice cream from the cart or pop in to the café for sandwiches, light bites, hot dishes, jacket potatoes and hot and cold drinks. Also available outside will be pulled pork baps and hot dogs.
Get active with Zumba Kids, free of charge with regular sessions throughout the day. Get outside with the bouncy castle and the climbing wall and then make delicious Gruffalo treats in the centre.
Climb inside a fire engine, learn about fire safety in the local community and get to know your local police officers!
With crafty fun, free of charge, make a herb pot and make leaf hammering art from the treasures you find in the Meadows! Guess the name to win the teddy and find Tusker to win a prize.
Find out all about Grow Cook Learn, the charity running the Discovery Centre and learn about becoming a supporter. Speak to Amanda Apps, the new Discovery Centre Ranger, about the launch of the volunteer work group for the Meadows and see how you can get involved.
