The award-winning venue has re-vamped its iconic black shopping bags and launched a brand new, bright green jute bag for 2012.
The bags are limited to just 500 and are available to anyone making a purchase of £10 or more within the market, while stocks last.
Customers can collect a form on site which they need to get verified by the trader/s they purchase from.
Completed forms can then be exchanged for a complimentary jute bag at the site manager’s office on the gallery level.
Kate Gittins, site facilities manager at the market said: “Everyone loved our black Market Hall shoppers which we created for a customer incentive back in 2009, you still see people using them around town today as they are fantastic quality. We’ve wanted to do another one for a while, the idea is to have a new colour for each year – but be quick as stocks are limited!”
Shrewsbury Market Hall is located under the town’s iconic clocktower and boasts a vibrant cacophony of eclectic stalls selling a range of goods from traditional fruit and vegetables, fish and meat to Middle Eastern delights, champagne and oysters, vintage wares, clothes, books, trinkets, handmade jewellery and more.
The market’s main trading days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays with a select few stalls open on Thursday mornings.
