Roots and Up, run by Ash Molloy, launched at the end of April and offers a full range of reflexology and therapeutic massage for relaxation, pain relief and chronic conditions. A reflexology service for new Mum’s, Mums-to-be and couples trying for a baby is also available.
Ash, who has recently relocated to Shrewsbury from Market Drayton, is a fully qualified and insured Reflexologist and Massage Therapist with the Guild of Holistic Therapists, with a VTCV Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology.
Clothed, upper body massage (neck and shoulders) for relaxation and mild pain relief is available from the market on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm. Booking is advised, but not essential, and reflexology taster sessions are available at an introductory rate of £10 (usual price of £25).
All other treatments are offered from the comfort of a private therapy room at Ash’s home in central Shrewsbury. Appointments are available anytime Mondays and Thursdays, and any weekday evening.
A sports massage therapy, dietary advice and planning service is also coming soon.
Ash said: “In our busy lives we rarely take the time to be good to ourselves, a massage session delivers a blast of goodness to both body and mind, leaving the person feeling revitalised, relaxed and re-balanced. Here at the Market Hall is the perfect place to grab a little me time, shoppers can pop in as they pass or book a specific appointment either on site, or in the comfort of my private therapy room.”
