New Ironbridge Stamp Unveiled

New Ironbridge Stamp Unveiled Ironbridge in Shropshire has been included in a new range of first class stamps unveiled by Royal Mail that shows off some of Britain's most famous landmarks.

The Royal Mail's Special Stamps A to Z programme initially features landmarks from A to L, starting alphabetically with the Angel of the North in Gateshead and including other well known places such as Blackpool Tower, Harlech Castle and even Number 10 Downing Street, where the stamps were unveiled yesterday.

The new stamps will be issued from Thursday 13th October with a second series, covering letters M to Z, issued in April 2012.
