Mother’s Day is this coming Sunday (26th March) so spoil her with a delicious Sunday lunch in our café; Tables will be dressed and we will be serving our popular Sunday roast with the choice of a starter and dessert too. We have local ice cream from Dairy Dreams for those that fancy it and also stock a range of local ales and wines so you can raise a glass to Mum! Take a walk around the meadows and enjoy the signs of Spring starting to peep through. Let’s hope it will be a beautiful Spring day but should the weather not be on our side, there are plenty of other ways to spend your day… Why not explore the exhibition instead, meeting the mammoth and flying over the Shropshire hills? Entry to the Discovery Centre and Onny Meadows is free but there is a charge for visitors to enjoy our Secret Hills exhibition and visit our mammoth. The Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre offers an extensive programme of family events, adult courses and a variety of activities for the whole family. The unique grass roofed building houses a replica of the famous mammoth skeleton found in Shropshire. The café serves delicious home-cooked food.
