British Ironwork Centre Vintage & Classic Transport Rally

British Ironwork Centre Vintage & Classic Transport Rally Saturday 18th July 2015 – starts 10.00am. Free to the Public

There are now less than two weeks away from certainly Shropshire’s newest and most usual transport rally, already booked in are over 250 cars including lagondas through to E Types, as well as classic racing Minis to the finest Bentleys, ranging in all ages from the 1911 to the 70’s.

The Centre will also play host to vintage motorcycles, tractors, lorries and stream engines. Vehicles of all shapes and sizes, styles and standards of restoration will be on display for visitors to admire and enjoy.

Owners and enthusiasts are travelling from all over the county, with special exhibits coming from as far as Yorkshire and Bristol.

It will be the most enjoyable transport celebration that has ever been held, according to event organiser Kenny Anthonisz. The Chairman has also pledged to feed all exhibitors bringing their vehicles, from far and wide, as a thank you for their time and for sharing their wonderful exhibits.

There’s also absolutely no exhibitor fees, so everyone wishing to show there memorabilia, can join us, with no costs what so ever.

For the first year, we’ve also scrapped any entrance fees for the public, simply inviting those who would like contribute something to donate to Hope House children’s Hospice, who will collecting at the Centre on the day.

With a cavalcade at 1 pm, you will witness a spectacular parade, all under the watchful eye of our commentator, announcing the vehicles and their owners personally over the speaker system.

To ensure everyone visiting enjoys the spectacle and in true keeping with the Centre’s reputation, everyone will be offered ice cream and will enjoy live music plus opportunities to engage in archery and other side show entertainments.
