Attention for those who love beer and cycling, Ludlow Brewing Co sportive in Support of Parkinson

Attention for those who love beer and cycling, Ludlow Brewing Co sportive in Support of Parkinson Letsgovelo have combined with the Ludlow Brewing Co to put on a sportive in support of Parkinson’s UK. The event will have two distances of 25 (Fun Ride) and 70 miles (Challenge Ride) taking you through the best countryside that Shropshire has to offer.

The Fun Ride is an gentler route taking you through forests and rural lanes and the Challenge Ride will take you over the Long Mynd, voted the 39th best climb in Britain! The event takes place on 4th June 2017 at 9.30am from the Ludlow Brewing Co headquarters which is, in itself, an amazing renovated railway shed! Cost of entry is £20 for the Fun Ride and £35 for the Challenge Ride.

The event is helping to raise money for Parkinsons UK which is a great cause and I think one that a lot of people have been affected by in some way shape or form.

This is a great event for the local community and bringing people into the local area. Gary Walters, the owner of the Ludlow Brewing Co, is a massive fan of cycling and takes part in road and off road pursuits. Gary is quoted as saying “Shropshire has a wealth of beautiful countryside and what better way to see it than on two wheels. Plus, the Ludlow Brewing Co HQ provides for an excellent venue and great refreshments afterwards”
