Kim, a Grammy award winner and Olivier award nominee, has performed at all the world’s major opera houses and with all the major orchestras under conductors such as Sir Georg Solti and Sir Simon Rattle, sang for five years at the Royal Opera, during which he performed thirty-five roles, and is a regular guest at The Metropolitan, New York, La Scala in Milan, English National Opera, Bayreuth and Glyndebourne.
Now Kim is directing Two Score’s All The World’s A Stage, a celebration of Shakespeare's work in words and music, to be performed at the beautiful Ludlow Methodist Church Hall, from Wednesday November 30 to Saturday December 3.
The production will feature soliloquies and scenes from Shakespeare's greatest works, such as Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, Julius Caesar, King Lear and Richard III, plus lighter fare from The Merry Wives of Windsor and A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as sonnets, all accompanied live by a new musical soundscape, composed by Ed Begley and performed live by a band including world famous jazz drummer Tony Bianco.
