Pat & Don extend a warm welcome to all their visitors & hope they enjoy their stay with them.
The B&B has two lovely large dual aspect rooms; double beds both with en suite bathrooms. Each room has tea & coffee making facilities & home made biscuits to enjoy while you kick back and rest. Both rooms have hairdryers and TV with DVD players. Iron facilities are available on request. Children are welcome and the owners accomodate for family rooms. Travel cot for the little ones & an extra bed for young children can also be provided on request with a small extra charge discussed when booking.
We are a working small holding comprising of 19acres of ground. We have horses who go out competing most weeks, sheep who have lambs in the spring and chickens that are free range and lay great eggs!
A traditional full English breakfast to the visitors own choice. Continental breakfast is also available alongside cereals, fruit and yoghurts. All the breakfast ingredients are locally sourced & the owners own free range eggs are used. A high chair for the little ones is also available.
The B&B is a Non-Smoking accomodation with Wifi access throughout. On site parking is very easy with a large drive way.
Near by to Woodfield B&B is the historical medieval town of Shrewsbury just a 10 minute drive away. The property is situated 1.25 miles off the by-pass on the B4386 towards Montgomery which means it a great location to get out and about and venture round the towns of Shropshire. There are a number of National Trust places to visit near by, Attingham park, Carding Mill valley,Powis Castle to name a few. The Woodfield B&B is ideal location for those who are attending events such as Shrewsbury Flower Show, Shrewsbury Steam Engine & Vintage Vehicle Rally, Loton Park Hill Climb.
