The guest house, originally a Victorian Gentleman's residence built around 1892, is full of the charm and character that epitomised the era and the nostalgic feel is complemented by period furnishings and original fireplaces.
We are conveniently located a short 10 minute walk from the town centre and all major transport routes are nearby. The historical Shrewsbury Abbey Church, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael, is just around the corner, along with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets and a multi-screen cinema. Other attractions close to the bed and breakfast include Shrewsbury Castle, Attingham Park, and the world heritage site of Ironbridge is only 14 miles away.
You will find that we have thought of the smallest detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All rooms have very comfortable beds, free WiFi internet access, LCD Digital TV, DVD players as well as luxury touches including large soft towels, cosy dressing gowns and quality organic toiletries. Welcome trays are well stocked with quality refreshments including herbal teas, hot chocolate, bottled water, biscuits and Lindt chocolates.
